A man initially detained in relation to the Manchester City synagogue attack has been taken into custody again at the local airport.

Two individuals lost their lives when the attacker, thirty-five, carried out a car and knife attack at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue on October 2.

Counter Terrorism Policing North West stated the 30-year-old suspect was originally arrested on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of terrorist activities.

Police indicated he was detained again at the city airport on suspected failing to disclose information in violation of Section 38B of the Terrorism Act 2000. He has since been released on bail with specific conditions.

Police stated they "are confident there is no continuing danger to the public following the incident the previous week."

Six individuals were detained in the aftermath of the incident, with two—a man and a woman—taken into custody in the following hours and then released on Sunday night.

The following day, detectives announced they had been granted extra time to question the remaining four, who were also detained on "suspected commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism."

On midweek, authorities stated they too were scheduled for release but emphasized that "was not an indication the probe was finished."

Also on that day, authorities disclosed that the suspect placed an emergency call in which he pledged allegiance to the organization calling itself IS.

Melvin Cravitz, 66, and 53-year-old Adrian Daulby lost their lives in the violent event on Middleton Road in the area.

Mr Daulby sustained a gunshot wound after armed officers arrived at the scene and fatally shot the suspect fatally.

A officer's bullet also hit another man, a bystander, who is recovering in hospital after an operation.
