Trump's Family Member Gets Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Prior to Professional Golf First Appearance
The rising star has impressive online audience
Kai Trump can count on numerous high-profile cheerleaders when she starts her first LPGA appearance later this week.
This teenage golfer, who is connected to Donald Trump, was granted a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, operates multiple courses worldwide and often plays against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she mentioned.
She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, told her: "Just stay calm."
"He essentially suggested to go out there and relax," she explained.
"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, making him rather occupied."
Being non-professional, Kai has played in just three tournaments this year and holds the 461st position in AJGA rankings.
However she can get advice from golf legend, in a relationship with her mother.
"He represents the top athlete globally," the young golfer said.
"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He told me to play, relax, following the flow."
She'll challenge some of top competitors in professional golf at the competition, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.
The LPGA mentioned that Kai's presence exposes golf to wider groups, especially reaching the next generation.
Kai boasts millions of followers and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle company.
She begins at late afternoon GMT.
